Cancellation and Returns

Cancellations/ Returns and Refund :

 

The company has a no return, no refund policy on non-faulty goods. Since most of the products are high value and well thought after rather than impulsive purchases, we do not encourage returns. 

Own Interiors Private Limited will not under any circumstances accept returns on any special order, custom size, made to measure or any standard product that has been adjusted at your request. As all our kitchens and wardrobes and other modular furniture are specifically made to order in accordance with your desired requirements these items shall not be cancelled or returned. Therefore, upon initiation of the sale there can be no cancellations beyond the first 24 hrs. There is a possibility that amendments can be made to your order within the first 24 hrs after ordering, prior to the commencement of production. Cancellations for all made to order can be made within first 24 hours of placing an order, however, only a credit note and not refund shall be issued for the same, with a validity of 6 months. All requests for amendments must be made and accepted in writing and you, the consumer will be liable for costs incurred as a result of change in design or item change, if any. This does not affect your statutory rights related to faulty goods.        

A retail consumer can cancel a contract of any purchased readymade item within 2 days, starting from the day of placing the order. In that case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the products. The mode of refund shall be the same as the mode of payment. Please give us 12-14 working days as refund processing time, once we have received your request for cancellation and a refund note is issued to you.We do not accept any cancellations and claims for refund beyong the 2 days of placing the order. We would therefore recommend you to research and take an informed decision before you buy.

 

We as the seller reserve the right to cancel the contract between us and you in the event of the following;

1)You have placed an order for the items that have been discontinued or are out of stock ,2) An error has occurred with the pricing of goods ordered on the website and you do not accept the updated price. If Own Interiors Private Limited makes the decision to cancel your order you will be notified at the first opportunity by email or telephone. A full refund will then be made to the credit card used at the time of purchase. Please give us normal banking card reversal processing time for the same. Own Interiors Private Limited will not be held liable to pay you any compensation for any reason.

        Refund : 

        For any refunds arising due to negligence on our part or faulty goods, the mode of return would be the same as the mode of payment from your end. Whether your claim for refund in case of faulty goods is valid, would be at the sole discretion of the management and would be final and binding.The decision for return or repair of faulty goods would depend on the product and nature of fault.
